Welcome to the world of Rag Rug Making

Cilla Cameron has been rug making for over 15 years, teaching and exhibiting her work throughout the UK, Canada, America and Australia. She publishes the quarterly newsletter Rag Rug News and is a member of the Editorial Board of Rug Hooking Magazine.

Cilla holds a large range of supplies for the beginner through to the experienced rug maker. Take a look through this web catalogue for an excellent selection of British Made quality hooks, frames, hessian, kits and patterns.

The name Rag Rug is a general term for a rug or mat made with rags. There are two traditional methods; prodding and hooking, each quite different in texture and technique. It is fun to produce rich designs and at the same time help the environment by recycling materials and keeping this old craft alive.

Come and enjoy a one or two-day workshop, enrol for Rug School or sit back in the comfort of your home and watch the teaching video. Click here to see the courses and workshops for 2007
